Why is Jason Schiell starting for this team especially vs the Reds? Is he the best our farm system has to offer? I’d rather go to a 4 man rotation until Davies is back.

Jenny, the IP address from last week does not work anymore. I went to Proxy4Free, but I couldn’t get any of those to work either. Any thoughts ??? Thanks as always, you’re the best.
Ken Rosenthal just talked about the Yankees maybe signing Andruw when he becomes a free agent…
And he compared Roy Oswalt to Tim Hudson.. “a smallish starter that loses his effectiveness when he becomes older”…
ugh…

No proxy this week, jj3bagger. My magic knowledge comes from blacked-out Red Sox fans, but the team plays after 7PM so nobody needs a proxy today. You could try http://www.publicproxyservers.com, but if the other site didn’t work, I doubt that one will either. You’d probably have more luck with ones outside the U.S., Japan, and S. Korea, if you do decide to test them. I almost got an Iranian one to work last week. Sorry, though.

seriously though, Ron posed a legitimate question earlier, do we really not have anybody better ??? I know Thomson and Davies are hurt, but we really don’t HAVE anybody better than a guy that was in Independent ball two months ago ??? I think Kevin Barry could post better than a 6 ERA in a starting role. It’s not like we are up 10 games and can afford just to throw one out of five games away.

Davies is gonna need at least three more rehab starts from what I’ve read. Perhaps we could speed that process up to one or two and let him to his last “rehab” start with the Braves ??? Surely a Kyle Davies rehab start could be better than a normal Shiell/Cormier/Travis Smith/whatever random 5th starter you wanna throw out there.
Jared

You can’t be mad a jason shiell. Its really not his fault that he simply isn’t good enough to be a major league pitcher. It is Bobby and JS’s fault. C’mon Hacky…
First two on and the Braves aren’t going to score, are they? How many times has this team done this lately?
Aw, gee, thanks, FOX, I get bonus coverage of the Braves for the next either 15 or 45 minutes, depending on what Jeanne Zelasko meant. Hello, all.
Jenny, I did you try that IP address I gave you earlier ??? It’s been working for me very nicely all day long.
Maybe Giles will increase his trade value in the off season by hitting better in the 2 hole.
it’s really getting to be ridiculous with this rotation. Schiell shouldn’t even be on the roster, let alone starting games.
Announcer: “You cannot fault Wayne Krivsky for trying to get better.”
OK, can you fault him for being stupid?
Well that’s it. I hate Yates.
Arrrrggghhh.
I already have Shiell in the Doghouse, do you want me to put Yates in instead?

Yeah, Yates.
