Phillies close the gap back to one run in back to back innings, only to watch the bullpen give it back in the 7th, then give up 4 in the 8th. Looks like the Giants will take this one.

That’s a shame. The import of his name is great, anyway. I’m a big fan of Wang CM.
I shouldn’t complain about Braves till now.
Btw, Stevie Wonder is Mr.cabbage’s favorite singer-song writer. He was my Professor of mine, I’m sorry Mr. cabbage, can’t remember your name.-_-;;

makes it enjoyable when kids come up and play like that, unlike the yankees where everyone has to be a superstar, its nice to see a kid get a shot and do well with it, no telling what he will do, but if he goes 0-50 from today till whenever, its still more productive than langerhans was

Still kind of surprised Mac hasn’t called the Dodgers “Team Evil” yet.
There’s something weird on all the big baseball sites- some prankster has put Jorge Sosa as the Mets’ starter tonight. That can’t be right, can it?
There are eight million people in New York City; surely one of them can pitch better than Sosa.
If Only Sosa could pitch EVERY night for the Mets…
Hey, as long as they’re trotting Jorge and Chan Ho out there, I’ll be feeling pretty good about myself.
What in the world is up with San Fran today?
Anybody else seeing their jerseys?
The Giants are celebrating Cinco de Mayo by wearing their “Gigantes” jerseys, apparently, according to the announcers.
Wang has a perfect game going into the 7th for the Yanks…
Still perfect through 7…he fell behind 3-0 to Ibanez and ended up striking him out.
I realize it’s the 5th of May….but Gigantes???
I don’t understand it either, James. It seems very strange.
I think the Mariners got a little too cocky after yesterday’s game.
I’ll give em credit though, it’s better than Fox not switching off of Phillies-Giants to let us see somebody try and throw a perfect game.
It’s over….Ben Broussard just hit a solo shot.
back-to-back hits…Guillen singles.
