Hey, We Did it! The Braves got back on track last night with a great start from Reynaldo Lopez, and now it’s time to continue the trend with the Braves vs. Rays Series. LHP Chris Sale. will take on RHP Zack Littell, and here are the other matchups for the series:
- Game 2, Charlie Morton vs. Ryan Pepiot
- Game 3, Hurston Waldrep vs. Zach Eflin
Some Minor Transactions
Alex Anthopoulos has went to the Rockies well several times over the course of his tenure with the Braves and he went back to it earlier this week.
Matt Carasiti was a 6th round pick way back in 2012. He was first called up to the bigs in 2016, but didn’t impress. After that, he had a stint in Japanese ball, then came back to the states. He then sat out of baseball for 3 years, came back on a MiLB deal in 2022 and played part-time in the bigs in both 2023 and 2024 with poor and poorer results.
Nacho Alvarez has been promoted to AAA and many online are speculating that he’s going to replace Orlando Arcia. I cannot imagine that will actually happen, as his defense is just ok at short.

I swear we hit more hitters with back foot sliders than any team in mlb history and they all score after we hit them. This team isn’t good enough to keep making unforced mistakes and get away with it
Edit- a hbp didn’t score. Great job by Sale pitching out of that. I agree with Frenchy…Riley is going deep tonight
Harris has to leave with an apparent hammy injury.
Big Bear!
Frenchy isn’t allowed to leave the booth if this is how they are going to hit.
For real…
Tampa is burning through their bullpen tonight.
Dylan Lee did not have it this evening.
Sick play by Arcia to end the game
