These last few days has been weird. There was a few days where I thought our house would be washed out to the gulf only to have 0 hurricane weather in our area at all. However, for the people from Apalachicola to Tallahassee, the news is less than good. Unfortunately, the gulf is still warm and there are 2 named storms that will likely enter the gulf on the heels of Helene. However, the weather moved out of Atlanta quickly and the Braves will likely get all 3 of these games in.
Max Fried will take on Brady Singer tonight and some dude named TBD will be taking the mound tomorrow and Saturday.

Did the Braves get hot just in time? God, I hope so.

Multiple days off don’t seem to suit the Braves well. And that was when everyone was healthy for the last two years. Hope the long layoff affects the Phillies, since they got their big lead by playing sub 500 teams for like 3 months
Man, I’m nervous but excited. Feels like the playoffs! Go Braves!
Let’s beat the Royals, have the Twins complete their meltdown, and then play 2 with KC where they have nothing to play for
A fast runner who never bunts is playing suboptimally. Bunting occasionally forces the defense to consider the possibility. Imagine coaches who taught game theory
Sean Murphy!! Silencing his critics!
What a great trade it was for Murphy!
Lol, I said out loud after Murphy’s last at-bat, “man, I can’t stand him”.
…and then he TOTALLY redeemed himself!
Same but why do I feel he has no shot to get the runner home now ?
Well, I guess Murphy hasn’t silenced his most vocal critic. And you were right that time. But I’ll take what we’ve gotten from him tonight.
Seems like we’ve hit a lot of balls hard tonight with not much to show. Hope the Murphy tater stands up
I doubt Snit would do it, but I wish we would sub Merrifield in for Ozzie late in games, for defense.
I hate that the announcers even brought it up but NO WAY you take Max out of this game.
I not only wouldn’t take him out, I’d offer him a long term contract for whatever he wants
Mets losing 5 to 0. Come on Milwaukee
Might we have just seen Max walk off the Truist mound for the final time?
Should not have challenged there. It wasn’t really that close. Even if we’d won it probably wouldn’t have mattered. And having a challenge for the 9th could be far more important.
