On the players, it depends on what stats you are counting, but I would think under any circumstances ARod and Oswalt are givens. I think you then have to decide between Ichiro and Ordonez, depending on which stats are needed and the hardest to come by.
On tonight, go Braves. Needless to say, this matchup is the least likely to produce a win this series.

Actually, I have it pegged for a pretty short night. Once we get down by five, I’m moving on. With Cormier on the mound, I should be good to go by about 5:15-5:30.

Cox pitched Moylan last night because he hadn’t pitched in a while. He was just trying to get him some work so that he could stay sharp. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. I would have actually preferred to see him come in instead of Vulture. The game might have stayed close.
To All –
Chuck James is a good 3rd starter. There is no way that James is hurting this team as a 3rd starter. I do agree that it would be nice to see him go farther into games, but give him some time. If he develops another pitch, I can see him as a #2 guy easy (of course not this year). He has hit a rut as of late, but I can see him pulling it out. Anyone remember those 6 starts from Hudson this year after his stellar start (started to remind me of last year), but he was able to pull it back together in a big way. So I say let the guy have some time to develop. Of course I’m saying this in the middle of a penant race, so nobody is going to accept that (not even me).
Nick

Also, since Moylan has that sidearmed delivery, I would think he’d be less susceptible to at least arm injury, if not fatigue as well. So if there’s one guy Bobby could get away with riding like a horse out there, it’s probably Moylan.

Joshua, look at your arm. See how it hangs? Swing it around. If you are like most people, this motion will be a lot more like Peter Moylan’s than, say, Oscar Villarreal. Throwing a baseball, overhand, is an unnatural act. Lifting your arm above level with your shoulder stresses the shoulder and if you do it enough will cause ligament damage.
