You both would be singing his praises if Devine shined through his outings. There was only evidence of lights out on every level for Devine. We needed a closer bad and Bobby forced this issue, but maybe because he knew how deep his pen was. Easy to say now it was a mistake.
Dan, we know the result even before the game started. The fact that we are still watching the game shows how much we all love this team.

Lando, I think Hermida had to figure it was coming down the pipe 3-2 in the rookie’s debut, I’m just happy Stockman went after him and didn’t give in. And he didn’t lose the other guy 3-1. Nice to see him aggressive and not give up the walks that we’ve seen so often. Hopefully he does well and sticks.

Um, not to get people’s hopes up or anything, but the Red Sox have sucked pretty bad as of late. Of course, we may cure what ails ’em, but this could be a series of wonderfully balanced craptastic proportions this weekend.
Look at the bright side gang, we were beaten by a first place team and we had relatively no opportunities to score. Plus Wilson Betemit really proved he’s ready to replace Giles and Stockman wowed me with his first outing.
