About 2 weeks ago, the Braves looked like they were turning their season around, then last week happened, the Braves are in 3rd place and are now 0.5 games out of the last Wild Card spot. There’s really nothing about this season that makes any dadgum sense. Sure, losing Spencer Strider and Ronald Acuña Jr. in the first month were HUGE blows, but the Braves have been able to absorb injuries in the past, but no one could’ve expected this offense to fall of Mount Kilimanjaro. If the Braves can cumulatively start hitting again, then there’s hope. If not, this will go down as one of the most disappointing seasons in my lifetime. Tonight, Grant Holmes will take the mound against the Colorado Rockies and former Braves farmhand Tanner Gordon.
Transaction a Day AA. The Moves Keep Coming
Zach Logue is worthy of our excitement and I hope that he gets to take the mound at some point during this road trip. Parker Dunshee got a tough break on a tough night, but I still feel he’ll be a pretty good reliever sooner than later.
This is Fun
Braves Lineup
Hope Lettuce can gettuce back on track.

If Grant Holmes wants to get a swing and miss on a 93 mph cutter that is thrown down the middle he needs to pitch against us. There isn’t a hanger we can’t swing through.
Our lack of attention to detail remains staggering
Gonna get swept by the dog-ass Rockies. Goin’ great!
Friday night’s alright (for losing)
But honestly… I don’t like the Grant Holmes starter experiment. Great reliever, but currently it seems like he doesn’t have the weapons to start. This just feels like a situation where we’re running a guy out there, out of the position he’s best suited for, because we simply don’t have any better options. That’s a failure.
Well even though we’re losing, Holmes is getting shelled by a really good hitting lineup and we’re struggling against a great pitcher.
I am glad we don’t t see the White Sox again…we could certainly make them right at this point. The Soler reunion isn’t a ton better than the Rosario reunion.
Jorge Soler!
