I didn’t get to see the Braves in-person this season. With a wife that travels for work, a full-time job, a 7 month old, 5 year old, and 8 year old, it just wasn’t my year. However, it was definitely the Braves year and the most fun season I’ve been a part of in my 45 years on this earth. In today’s piece, I’d like for Braves Journalers to share their favorite moments from this historic year.
One thing worth noting is that the Braves put Jackson Stephens on the 15-day IL today, retroactive to 9/30. While I don’t know the reason, it sure looks like the Braves could be cracking the window for a non-roster addition.

My favorite moment hasn’t happened yet.
Losing 4-0 to the Nationals before we even step in the batter’s box? Season’s over–move along
My favorite part of the season was when it seemed like Matt Olson homered every day for 2 weeks.
Not that Dodd had any chance to make the playoff roster, but he’s not exactly helping himself for next year
I really want to at least tie the season home run record. If the Braves don’t hit a home run in the bottom of the 7th or 8th, I’d rather them not score at all so they will get a shot at the record in the 9th.
Why bring in Hand to face all RHP? Hope Snit doesn’t try this garbage in the playoffs.
Enjoying that particular ambience of Citi Field, while watching the Braves beat the Mets 21-3.
I sure was disappointed that the Mets scored those 3 runs.
Between Hand and Tonkin, I would hope we never have to see either in the playoffs.
I’m sure Snit is just testing players and not concerned about the win but all these walks are just maddening
Tonkin has been out of gas for several weeks now.
Ozuna single handedly tied the HR record for the team.
I think the last four HR were all by him
At least the last three for sure.
Putting Stephens on the IL must open up an opportunity for AJSS. Either AJSS or Winans whoever can more reliably cover one or three innings.
Tonkin had a hand in Ozuna tying the record, as well.
Marlins @ Phillies in the WC round… go Fish.
Yes, Tonkin may have taken the Loss, but without his effort in the 9th Ozuna would not have homered and the Braves wouldn’t share the all time home run record. Everyone has a role to play!

See you in the playoffs!
