   John Kruk just asked if Brian McCann is the best catcher in baseball on ESPN and the other guys answered yes.

   Hey guys, I’ve been out of grad school for 2 years and finally got offered a full-time job in the career I went to school for! (Teaching) I’m excited about it.

   Anyway, go Braves. McCann is the best catcher in baseball and Fredi is an idiot.

   #Braves lineup: 1. Schafer CF, 2. Gnzalez SS, 3. McCann C, 4. Freeman 1B, 5. Heywrd RF, 6. Uggla 2B, 7. Conrad 3B, 8. McLouth LF, 9. Hanson

   Chipper out of the lineup after his cortisone shot.

   McLouth now has the 2nd best OBP among the regulars (though just barely above Chipper and Freeman). Isn’t it about time to move him up or is it just because of the walks in front of the pitcher? His OBP is nearly 50 points better than Schafer, I’d bat him leadoff.

    Should, and will Schafer bat 9th when Prado comes back, if he is the starter in CF ? I think I would be in favor of it.

    I had a couple of amazing ones. Life changing. Shoot, it was my 5th grade band teacher who played us “Rapper’s Delight” during our weekly listening hour and said, with an absolute seriousness that I will never forget, “this is the future of music.”

    @18, I know. How random. Same guy also put me on the audio engineering path and made us all learn basic free improvisation techniques using found objects. In late-’70s Alabama.

    @29 I’d rather have the Peachtree broadcast than the one to which we’re subjected in Colorado, by a network whose slogan is “We root for the home team, just like you.” They practically wave purple towels and have a roving reporter who danced on-air after a Rockies win.

    @33 – is it Root Sports? They do Pirates broadcasts in my area. It’s pretty unbearable. When they beat the Red Sox a few Saturdays back, the announce team almost imploded.
