I’ve bought an album of Mercury Rev and one of the songs is “Hudson line”, which would be great as the video of the day for a Huddy game but I can’t find any video on youtube. The album is damn good though, an the Brewers are crushing the Muts 12-3

Hopefully watching the game tonight and rooting along here with you guys…
Big game from Chucky tonight & hopefully a couple more HRs.
That was a rather abusive game from the Brew Crew today. Even on the Mets’ first hit when Wright hit the ball off the right-field fence, Gwynn threw him out with a perfect strike to second.
And that 2-run pop-up to the Mets’ 2B was Little League material.
Nothing better than watching the muts get a good spanking. After the 7th inning, the Brew-crew erupted!

Chuckie James needs to step it up tonight. He’s been sucking too much lately. He better be pumped for the Bucs. I’m looking forward to the game tonight.

Tony Armas owns the braves. Against Braves batter he gives up an OPS of .678 and an average under .200. Hopefully the bats show up tonight.
Chipper for Orr is not a fair trade. LaRoche is on the bench tonight. Jim Tracy is laying the hate down now.

Spike, I’m around 10 miles away from Paris. There are so much things to do in Paris in the evenings. It depends if you’re a party/culture guy… you can visit some monuments (effeil tower, museums etc), hang around the Seine river on on a boat, go in some awesome bar/restaurants, or at a disco club, or in a bar to watch local bands playing, you can go to parties (there are students parties at this time of the year). You can go on the Champs-elysées. Anyway you can’t do nothing there, look up on google there are some sites with adresses and all, but they’re in french unfortunately (like http://www.parisbouge.com ). I hope you’ll enjoy your time here!
Back when he debuted with the Expos, I really liked Armas’ arm and thought he was going to be a very good pitcher for a long time. Shows you what I know.
Hey, first time poster, 1 year reader/follower. Truly appreciative of everyone’s love of the great game of baseball and knowledge of the game (and Mac’s efforts/accomplishments.)
Since this game (up to now and I don’t want to jinx us this early) is not a white knuckler, I wanted to come on and “submit comment”.
I will ask dumb questions but also submit occasional (and hopefully relevant)tidbits from baseball books from a baseball “library” I have put together over the years. My goal is to make contributions that will offset my questions and other comments.
You people really help make the game more interesting and thanks!
That’s okay, as long as he stays in Richmond (which I imagine he will …)

the cubs phillies game is wild, cubs scored 6 in the top half of the 7th, then in between delays the phillies scored 6 in the bottom half, and now the cubs have 2 more on in the 9th
What happened to him? I was bummed by the trade at first, but at least on the short-run it has been all in our favor!

Actually, Burkett was quite good pre-Braves, as was Ortiz, Ashby and Holmes, although they fell apart post Braves. Hammond had two good post braves years. Your larger point is well taken though.

Shaved heads can’t save the New York Metrosexuals from another game back.
Heh heh heh heh, classic stuff.
The Mets SUCK!
The Brewers are killing the Metrosexuals.
I love the Brewers! (at least when they’re beating the Mets and not facing us)
Ben Sheets against us: Yeech.

On the other hand, he’s Tony Armas.
Hate King, I hope your right about the Nets 😉
What’s the weather like? The Phillies just went into a rain delay at home against the Cubs.
Armas has an ERA well over six. I should hope the Braves can get to him.
“Armas has an ERA well over six.”
It’s much worse actually. His stats for 2007:
0-2, 7.94 ERA, 16K and 14BB
Nasa – where are you in france? I will be in Paris the week of the 11th. What’s good to do in the evenings?
Pete Orr playing third today.
Chipper out a few days supposedly (quad, thigh bruise, sore hands, what else?)
I’ve heard about his freakin’ quad for 10 years now.
Kyle B. is not a happy man right now…
Chipper for Orr is not a fair trade. LaRoche is on the bench tonight. Jim Tracy is laying the hate down now.

Any audio links today? Someone seems to have caught on to WXSM, they don’t have the game today.
Thor!!!
I know you guys have missed this one…
You know, Thorman’s finally starting to look like he’s not completely lost at the plate. That really helps the bottom of our order.
And a fantastic 1-2-3 inning by Chuck, just needed 10 pitches to carve up the order.
Great call Hateking, Nets win!
Chuck is look good so far
Back when he debuted with the Expos, I really liked Armas’ arm and thought he was going to be a very good pitcher for a long time. Shows you what I know.
Willie!
I seriously want to see Willy bat every day. That may be crazy, but we need his speed.
Willie I mean.
Wow! Niice!
Let’s knock ’em out early & leave ’em bloody. I wanna go to the movies & catch some gore myself (“28 Weeks Later”).
I missed majority of the first two innings. Is Kelly not playing tonight?
This might already be over. It should be anyway.
McCann! 5-0
No KJ is still batting 1st.
And that’s all for Armas…
Armas is their Redman.
Oh ok, I missed it. It confused me seeing Willie in front of Renty. I thought Willie was leading off and Renty was in his usual 2 spot. Thanks.
Bad baserunning by Andruw there. Gotta go back and tag on that one.
Andruw…gotta tag up there.
Cost us a run.
Now he tags up. Ugh.
Should be 6-0. Don’t know why Andruw didn’t advance on the Frenchy fly ball.
lol great minds…
Braves sign Rheal Cormier; Cormier to report to Richmond.
http://www.baseball-reference.com/c/cormirh01.shtml
He’s 40.

WILLIE! WILLIE! WILLIE!
Willie is proving his case to be in the lineup…
Willie is awesome.
Lightning in a bottle! Just ride it out.
He is possessed by the spirit of Charles Thomas
So we have a Cormier monopoly?
Sh! Don’t say that, Jon!
The Pirates’ offense looks so bad that James may have a shot at a no-hitter.
Oh, man, I missed it. We’ve Cormiered the market. So obvious.
Welcome aboard.
I can’t believe I’m going to bail on a perfecto, but that’s what I gotta do. I hope I don’t return to any surprises.
Keep scoring, boys. I just hope we don’t have to use Gonzo/Soriano tonight.
Oh, man, I missed it. We’ve Cormiered the market. So obvious.
Bad puns kill perfect games.
Wow, Langy had two hits tonight!!!
There went the perfecto!
Wow! that was a painless experience.
Let’s get one here.
No perfect game, but James still has that no-hitter going.
Frenchy!
So how many 2-out RBI’s are the Braves going to get this year? I just hope they keep up the hitting.
Thar she blows….
Oh drag.
[Clapping for Chucky]
Argh!
Nice effort, Chucky. Just get out of the 7th and the ‘pen will keep it nailed down.
Chuck’s really making the Pirates look like the Pirates.
Unreal
this kid harris, wow, its like charles thomas plus, how do we get these guys to do this? and then, when they get big contracts elsewhere they crumble
Willy’s having a game (and season so far)
hmm… Irealize hindsight is 20/20, but I was thinking they should have let James carry on there.
Chad Paronto is blowing it.
At this rate, we will have a save situation in the 9th. Come on Chad!
this kid harris, wow, its like charles thomas plus,
Don’t forget about Michael Tucker
michael tucker, first home run at the new stadium!
thaks, Adam – still contributing
Poor LaRoche.
Thanks Adam!
