I don’t know exactly what it was, but this game made me sick to my stomach much more than our other recent losses.
Maybe it was the suspect defense, maybe it was watching Hessman at the plate (Is it just me, or is he getting worse?), maybe it was Chipper comeing out of the game, or maybe it was the fact that we’re playing the freakin’ Expos, and still can’t put anything together.
Not really a fun game for me to watch.
At least our LOOGY didn’t allow another homer to a lefty.
Ok..
Nick Green just made this game a lot more fun.

I don’t know if Hessman is getting worse, but he isn’t getting any better. I am starting to feel for the guy. The book on him must be to keep it low, because he cannot hit anything that is low in the strike zone. The ump didn’t do him any favors expanding the zone in his last at bat.
It’s almost like he can’t bend at the waist. At least, that’s how it looks. He can’t even reach anything at the knees. Which also explains his defense. At some stage they have to bring in someone who can at least make routine plays and hit .200. God, are my standards getting low.
