I subscribe to the 10 run theory from the previous thread. Let’s hit early and often.
What’s the record for a player scoring on a wild pitch in an NLDS?
Not looking good – at this rate we’ll only score 9 (or maybe 8).
Sean, you’re in for one reason: defense
Good grief.
walks are gonna be the death of us
How do you lay off that up and in (and don’t challenge thankfully) and then swing away clearly down and away? I’m not an MLB player. But Acuna is. Come on, dude!
It’s the little things. Harris needs to take the extra base. Acuna can’t watch that FB for a strike. Murphy needs to put that ball in his pocket. And Yaz needed to call off Dubon. 1-1. Start over.
Oh good lord. A walk and 2 errors.
I think one of the reasons I usually get so angry during the postseason is that things always seem to happen that don’t in the regular season. Normally very good defensively? Let’s make 2 errors in the same inning, including a dropped pop-up, which quite literally almost never happens, to any team.
neither Riley nor Acuna can put a ball in play.
