So I’ve been so annoyed by the ads that I got rid of them. (The fact that I don’t know where the revenue, if any, went is a factor here as well.) I want to send a major thank you to Claude, who gave me detailed instructions on how to get rid of them. There’s still the one ad on the right that gives you a discount on Front Row Seats. I don’t know where that money goes either, but it doesn’t bother me.
In Braves transactions news, we got Tyler Kinley back at a discount, sent Brett Wisely to the same place I sent the ads, sent Javy Guerra to Lawrenceville, got George Soriano from the Orioles before he got a chance to pitch there, found Ken Waldichuk at the Sacramento Greyhound station, and will let Vidal Brújan carry out his sorcery in some other coven.
If you guys really want the ads back, let me know. I kept the code to bring them back.

Thank you, JF. Wish you’d found an ace in Punta Cana.
Pierce Johnson to the Reds. Kinley was willing to take less.
I’m not sure I wouldn’t prefer Kinley, even if the money was equal. Not sure if the league was figuring out Pierce’s curve or if something fixable in his mechanics was making it hittable, but Kinley has a second breaking ball to go to if he gets too predictable.
I think he has lost bite on his curve and hop on his fastball with age so he just doesn’t miss enough bats now. Best of luck to him in rediscovering the electric stuff he had in 2023.
Two observations: if I were the Mets, I wouldn’t offer Kyle Tucker $50 MM to play baseball for a year. But if I were Kyle Tucker, I’d accept that offer from anyone but the Mets. It’s curious.
