Well, it hasn’t been a great run for the Braves. In fact, the Braves are 5-10 in their last 15. Reynaldo Lopez will face off against JP Sears in a RHP vs. LHP battle.

AA on the RAAdio
Alex Anthopoulos was on the radio earlier today discussing the team and, as always, had an even keel approach to the conversation. So many fans want to see fire from the manager or GM when things go wrong, but AA has never been that guy and I like that about him. He doesn’t make panic moves and that’s a great thing for the organization. A few other notes:
- He discussed that he’d been trying to acquire Chris Sale for year before finally making it happen this offseason.
- He’s been dipping into the trade discussion a bit, but wouldn’t go into details. However, there’s another part of it: he always tells his son who it is and his son is excited! I don’t have a source, but my guess is Bo Bichette. It makes a lot of sense as he’s athletic enough to play all over.
