Does anyone care about these last three games other than stats nerds? I’m a stat nerd, and I don’t even care that much. But like former Brave Deion Sanders (pictured above), we’re just in it for the clicks.
Three against the Nationals. Allan Winans takes the bump tonight against Trevor Williams, who, if he can have a really good game, stands to be in the top 100 of NL strikeout leaders. (He’s currently tied for 106th.) How’s that for stats nerdery?
Forrest Wall and Nicky Lopez get starts. But anyway, I think I know how to embed a lineup:
Ronald’s always worth a click!
I’m just saying you could do a lot worse than Allan Winans if it comes down to it. Kid spots up and keeps the ball on the ground. Only one disaster start.
Welcome to the Little League! Three bases on a ball to the second baseman.
Weeeeeeell… I wouldn’t call that a particularly memorable performance, but then, I only watched on Gameday.
Recapped, if you care
