Home teams in CAPS. Baseball players wear caps, and you can discuss the baseball game if that floats your boat.
ALABAMA 28 Arkansas 20
FLORIDA 23 Tennessee 3
AUBURN 45 Miss St 6
GEORGIA 31 Western Carolina 0
SOUTH CAROLINA 29 SC State 3
VANDERBILT 21 Mississippi 6
Louisville 61 KENTUCKY 23
LSU 77 Middle Tennessee 0
I wholeheartedly agree with all the results (not much to disagree on), but I think that Kentucky may play a bit better against Louisville. 11 touchdowns for LSU is definitely possible.
Oh, Go Braves.
LSU: 77 pts = 10 TDs, 1 FG, & 2 safeties.
Let’s face it… If Miles wanted, he could hang triple digits on MTSU. The starters will probably start sitting some time in the second quarter.
I think the Louisville-Kentucky game will be closer, too. UK’s defense is truly terrible, but after watching (OK, reading about) MTSU hanging 42 on Louisville, I’m confident that Woodson, Burton, Tanney and Little will score more than 23.
Dear Tim Tebow:
Go to hell, and take the rest of the Gators with you.
Love,
Smitty
I’ll take Arkansas over Alabama. McFadden and Felix Jones will run wild on Bama’s front seven.
McFadden and Jones are very good, but the Arkansas offensive line is unproven. They lost three starters from last year, including Tony Ugoh. And Arkansas has no passing game, so Alabama won’t have to hang back at all. I see them breaking some big plays but also having a lot of negative and negligible plays.
I hope you’re wrong about Alabama winning. I hope Saban burns in hell.
Smitty sounds bitter. He must be a prophet…
As an unaffiliated observer, I gotta say that last year’s Bama-Hogs tilt was one of the more entertaining regular-season games.
It’s true; if Arkansas had any kind of QB, they’d be terrifying. But they don’t & they aren’t—they’re merely good. Still, that could be the game of the day.
This is the Braves’ last series at RFK stadium.
just wondering Mac, but what makes you think Auburn is capabale of scoring 40+ on anyone?
Dan, the Braves are still playing? I thought they were done, at least Chipper thought it was a good time to sit out
Does the Auburn score presume Henig with throw them 6 or 7 INT’s?
Also, I like the UF/UT and Lousiville/UK games to be closer. Both will be shootouts. Something like 42-35.
The lone ACC preview score:
GEORGIA TECH 30, Boston College 23
It’s going to be a close sucker. Boston College is 4th in the nation in rushing defense, but I’m wondering if that has something to do with the fact they played NC State and Wake Forest in consecutive weeks, two schools not known for their rushing.
I’m sure that Georgia Tech is going to get burned a few times by Matt Ryan, but I’m also sure that BC isn’t going to get anywhere on the ground. Whatever points the Eagles get, they’ll surely get through the air.
I sincerely believe that how Tashard Choice performs in the first half will set the tone of the game. If the Eagles stop Choice, then it’ll be up to Taylor Bennett to do something. The good news is the Yellow Jackets haven’t had to have a good passing game the last two games. The bad news is that that’s not going to work against Boston College. I have confidence that Bennett’ll get his first couple of TD passes in this game, though.
If the Eagles stop Choice, the Eagles win.
You can’t leave Bennett fully out of the equation though. He should be able to a lead a drive with the pass.
And that’s just the thing. I don’t think the Eagles can stop Choice. Are Maryland’s and Wake Forest’s offensive lines and running backs good or not? If they’re not good, then Boston College has to face a Georgia Tech offensive line and a running back that are good. This is why I’m skeptical about that “4th in the nation in rushing defense” thing.
I didn’t say the Eagles could stop Choice.
And I’m not nearly as impressed with Bennett as you seem to be. He’s better than Ball—who isn’t, really?—but still not “good” and certainly not in Ryan’s class.
I think GT will win because of Choice and because their D is so good, but if either of those are off, I don’t think they’ll be able to pull it out.
Baseball related:
As a Braves fan in Ohio, I’m considering purchasing the MLB.TV package for next season with the demise of TBS and the Braves. I just wanted some honest accounts of how its worked for any Braves Journal fan who has used the service.
How is the quality? High spots? Low spots? Has anyone used an S-video hookup to put the game on their television? If so, quality? Sound? Reliability?
Any info will help. Also, what’s the full season price?
Thanks –
Auburn scores four touchdowns on defense.
Stu,
I understand that Bennett hasn’t been tested, but he has to get a TD pass sometime, and it might as well be against BC. That’s why I said “should be able to”. But you’re right. I think it’ll shape up to be a “whoever cracks first loses” kind of game.
Right, but if Choice is shut down, “a TD pass” will not beat BC.
Wait a second, I said “will”. Oh well. I still have some confidence in him, even with inexperience.
Stu,
I know that. I think I said “two” in that first thing. I wonder what BC’s passing defense is.
I think Tech will scrape thru the BC game. Its the Clemson game which worried me. We always have trouble with Clemson
Sam…a minor point but Wake Forest IS more known for rushing than any other offensive attribute. Last season was probably the best i’ve seen them pass with Skimmer at QB, but now he is out with a seperated shoulder. Under Grobe Wake has run a fairly unique offense with a run game replete with misdirection, counters and so forth. I’d say that is their trademark. they also ran the ball fairly well against Nebraska last week.
Okay, that just proves I don’t know anything about Wake Forest. I saw that Kenneth Moore did rush for 119 yards against Nebraska when I looked at that boxscore. So maybe there is something to it.
However, when I looked at NC State’s rushing stats, they weren’t nearly as good in their non-BC game as Wake Forest was. That’s why I think Boston College’s total rushing defense ranking might be a little puffed up, like Georgia Tech’s total rushing offense is. That was my main point.
Nebraska had a tough time defending the end around off motion that Wake runs quite often. Unfortunately for me, Nerbaska is probably going to have an even tougher time tomorrow night…
I’ll give the scores for 10 real games since Mac is delusional at times and thinks that Alabama will win and Louisville will win by 38:
(Home team in CAPS)
AUBURN 34, Mississippi State 0
FLORIDA 37, Tennessee 17
Notre Dame 24, MICHIGAN 20
WASHINGTON 31, Ohio State 30
Arkansas 28, ALABAMA 23
Ole Miss 27, VANDERBILT 20
KENTUCKY 45, Louisville 41
GEORGIA TECH 28, Boston College 17
SOUTHERN CAL 31, Nebraska 14
COLORADO 30, Florida State 20
Seriously, why is everyone high on Arkansas? Last year, Alabama should have beaten them, in Fayetteville, and the game went to double-OT. Now they’re going to Tuscaloosa, with a re-built OL and no (or a severely limited) Marcus Monk, and Alabama is no longer coached by a moron. Of course, we still have the same awful placekicker.
Ole Miss sucks. No way Vandy loses to them at home.
If Chris Nickson plays the way he played against Alabama, missing wide open recievers for no good reason, Ole Miss will beat us. They’ll pound Green-Ellis.
There’s no reason Nickson should play like that again, though, so we should win.
Echoing what Mac said, all the major players from last year’s debacle in Fayetteville are gone–Malzahn, Mustain, Cleveland, Monk, Shula, Chris Capps, Ken Darby, etc. Despite that, and JPW’s first SEC road start, we basically stopped McFadden and had them beaten.
Fast forward to this year. No Shula. No Capps. No Darby. No Mustain. No Cleveland. No Monk. Still Nutt. Saban…home SEC opener…at night…
No way we lose this game.
I think Ark-Ala will be a good close game. I think everyone is still unsure what Alabama is all about. I don’t follow them closely but they beat up on WCU and beat Vandy by 14 (?). I think everyone is still a little unsure what to make of the Saban era, and also, didn’t Wilson look shaky in the Vandy game?
Arkansas, meanwhile, still has potentially the best player in the game, offensive line issues nothwithstanding. But #32 is right, SEC home opener I give the edge to the Tide.
Auburn will NOT win by 20+
I don’t know who wins the Bama-Ark game and it’s not really keeping me up at night, but for the record: in last year’s game, McFadden had 125 yards in 25 attempts & 1 TD.
That ain’t exactly running wild, but it damn-sure ain’t “basically stopped.”
yes Wilson missed on a lot of easy passes. I dont know why we didnt run the ball more against Vandy. Grant looks like a stud so far. We had Vandy 24-3 and they got us on a late TD
McFadden will get his yards and he’ll get a ton of carries. AL just needs to make sure he doesnt break loose for any real big gains
Holding McFadden to less than 150 yards and 1 TD is stopping him, in my book. He can easily go for 200+ and 3-4 TD’s.
And that was with Shula.
We obviously use different methods of bookkeeping & language.
Contain, perhaps; stop, no.
No problem. McFadden’s a NFL-heisman talent. You’re not going to ‘stop’ him. Alabama’s certainly not. But we won’t be Troy and give up 350 rushing yards either. Holding him to 125 and 1 TD isn’t horrible. I didn’t say they’d shut him down, just that they basically stopped him from taking over the game and getting ridiculous. Absent that, Alabama wins.
i have bought the mlb package the last 2 years, and it has been awesome.
So wrong on the Miss. St Auburn game.
Here is what the real score will look like: Aurburn: 17 MSU: 27
Bobby just booted Chuck in the 4th after a lead off double by Willy mo pena. God knows why.
Chip said there was definite anger in his waddle as he approached the mound. Well, he didn’t quite say *that*, but you get the idea.
i like don sutton much better as a national broadcaster. he just disagreed with renteria bunting with no outs and a man on 2nd. bobby’s an idiot. even f’n don sutton knows that’s the wrong decision.
I think Renteria did it on his own.
Bobby asked Chuck how he was feeling or something to that extent and didn’t get a positive response.
Francoeur continues to strikeout on that same shoulder-high fastball.
Bobby is apparently under the delusion that we’re still in the race.
Anyhoo, Chuck threw 69 pitches in only three-plus innings, 50 of them for strikes. I can’t judge, but that sounds like his arm is tired, or any rate that his velocity and/or movement are down.
who was covering 3rd there?
btw, I’ve had mlb.tv for a couple of years, my biggest issue is that you can’t pick the broadcast feed like you can with the radio broadcasts, I don’t miss Simpson at all.
Wow, Teixeira thought he walked, and it was a ball called strike three. He was going to first, and he just stood where he was on the baseline for several moments when he realized he was called out.
Just… wow.
It was a bases-loaded, full count pitch too. Tex leaned down on that pitch too.
Turning point of the game too, I’d wager, cause Ryan Zimmerman just hit a two-run shot.
I hope we don’t use Yates in an important role next year, if we keep him.
great another 1 run game
I hope the Braves don’t stay inactive on the starting pitcher front this offseason because Mike Hampton is pitching great in winter ball and the Braves think he’s their new third starter.
I can just see the Mark Bowman headline:
Hampton’s Pitching in Winterball Comforts Braves
Schuerholz says he’s no longer desperate for a starter
i just want to get this season in the books before i start thinking about the next one, but i’m sure JS will work his magic.
Gimper Jones comes through!
Gotta love him.
At least we still own Chad Cordero…whatever that’s worth. Extras loss?
not gonna get excited yet…tie game…against the gnats
Quit swinging at those pitches already Francoeur! How many times must you whiff on the same frickin’ pitch?
what a gift
Francoeur may have improved overall on the year, but this is just one of the reasons that he’s not going to even be an NL All-Star.
and mr. clutch comes to the plate
So putting in Orr worked out for Bobby there. Good work Pete. Now if Andruw can defy all expectations. . .
Being an all-star now is based more on popularity than skill, so Francoeur has a chance.
Wow. He laid off a bad pitch
Andruw walks, but McCann grounds out on the first pitch. Worse than Frenchy chasing the high one?
Being an All-Star may be based on popularity, but counting stats make you popular. Francoeur can’t get that yet because he hasn’t put it all together.
And McCann swings at the first pitch. Patience , men, Patience!!
nothing like taking your time and getting a pitch you can hit for a quik out
Soriano going for the second inning. Ouch. I have a horrible, walk off homer feeling right now.
Especially because it’s Ronnie Belliard. How ridiculous is that?!
Ok. A walk off single.
Man, Chipper didn’t even move on that double. I guess he is one of the worst defenders ever.
Braves=Still Owned by Belliard
But that acronym is SOB. 😀
Chipper Jones has eight errors (lowest among major league 3B) and is tied for second in the NL with a .970 fielding percentage.
Gold glove?
BRAVES = Belliard Really Annoys Very Easily, Seriously.
Worst defenders ever? What? Are you drinking heavily?
Dan,
Not with that range, he’s not. He doesn’t have the Web Gems for the Gold Glove.
*hic* What?
Well, he pretty much only gets balls right near him if he gets the jump. I don’t think he is one of the worst defenders ever, really, but what happened there can’t help his case.
Watch Ryan Langerhans win the game here.
Strained oblique mean anything to you?
So Langerhans meets his destiny. Braves killer?
Tony Batista is alive?
Okay, this has to be the dumbest move I’ve ever seen. I don’t care what he has done this season, but even Tony Batista is worse than Langerhans.
kill me please
Told y’all.
I’m dying laughing. Batista looked horrible. Three swinging strikes.
Strike out Jesus!!
Touchdown Jesus!!
If the Braves lose because of Jesus, this season makes so much sense.
I wonder if Jesus Flores can make the rain stop.
Langerhans would have gotten that game-winning hit. He has karma on his side. But nope, Manny Acta had to go with the cold, hard stats. *laughs*
Chip Caray: Gets his man!
Joe Simpson: Hits to the opposite field.
Caray: What a play!
Simpson: Going the other way with it.
Caray: Oh mercy!!!
Simpson: Inside-out swing.
(I like Joe Simpson, by the way)
If we can get it to extras, we’ll win..
Wryn,
Or will we?…
Hot diggity.
EXTRAS!
Zing. Extras once more.
Hope survives.
The Nats pulled a Braves there. Copycats.
How close is Chipper Jones in the NL batting title race? Anyone know?
One of these days, the Braves have to win an extra-inning game on the road. I want the wins part to go down on my .500-O-METER for once.
Dan,
Entering tonight’s game, he’s fifth.
He and Edgar are tied for 4th.
Oh, maybe that’s what B-Ref means. Oh well.
Who has the lead and what’s their batting average? Does Chipper Jones still have a realistic shot?
Okay, we’ve got International League batting title contender Prado up for his first AB. He’s good at hitting singles and somewhat at fielding, I guess.
Ace Chutley is at .338, or was entering tonight. Holliday is at .333, Hanley Ramirez as .332, Renteria and Chipper both at .330. Renteria is now at .333, Chipper .332.
After tonight’s game, Chase Utley has a .337. I think that leads the league, and yeah, I think Chipper does have a realistic shot at the title, but only if he gets really hot or Utley really tanks.
That’s from MLB.com. I guess it’s real time.
He’s 8 points behind Utley. Definitely has a shot. So does Edgar.
Okay, we’ve got Logan, some guy named Fick, and Lopez due up.
Thanks. It’s probably Utley’s to lose though.
I think we win if we keep them from scoring here. Chipper, Tex and Franny sounds promising
As a high school football announcer, I appreciate this dialogue. Leaning out to read the scoreboard out of windows, not seeing 5 yards past the line of scrimmage, it’s ridiculous windows..
This team is an empty shell.
We have not produced a decent pitcher in years and there are none close to being ready.
And while I am at it goodbye Andrew. If he had any clutch ability we would be in hunt today and would have won many more playoff games.
Compare Andrew and Derek Jeter. One hits in the clutch the new Mr. October someone called him. Andrew Mr. K or Mr. DP.
Good luck with the new team. If any GM uses common sense Boros will be lucky to get 10 M. a year for a .215 hitter.
I have had this nagging thought. Everybody from the Carribean has fake birth certificates. Maybe Andrew is really about 39 not about 29. He plays like it.
Maybe he is even 49. Like how many ballplayers are there from Curaco????
I am going to see some games and will be thrilled to watch Prince go for 50. while we struggle to stay above .500.
Where is a good place to have drink and a meal close to the park? Maybe with a rational fan or two.
Way to kick the team when they’re a bloddied pulp from so many others kicking them, Icebox.
I have no answer to your query, though.
7-2 Red Sox leading going into the eighth inning.
It’s now 7-7, Yankees with a runner on third and still no one out in the eighth inning.
I want the Red Sox to win the division so the Yankees’ division streak ends and the Braves’ 14 stays at the top.
Now it’s 8-7 Yankees. You suck, Red Sox.
Great. Now Belliard has a chance to go 5-6, assuming we don’t get the DP here.
He’s getting at least a Bronze Star tonight from me no matter what happens.
7:00 left, 3rd quarter
@ Troy 34, Oklahoma State 10
wow
Prado saves the day. 😛 Time for the 11th!
Alright MANNY!! We win the game here in the 10th. Franny drives in someone.
Was it a sweet play? Watching gameday.
By one of “the SEC’s big games” on replay, they mean the crappy Lincoln-Financial Game replay. Only the score updates are even later and hopefully without Brooks & Dunn or Daughtry..
“Was it a sweet play?”
Not really.
Then Chipper does stupid swings like that. Sometimes I wonder why he does that.
Hey IceBox… I’m from Curacao, and I don’t have a fake birth certificate, neither does anyone I know that lives here so don’t go talking things that you don’t know of.
And you want to know WHY there aren’t many baseball players or pro athletes from here?? Because we are A VERY SMALL ISLAND with about 120.000 inhabitants and no decent sports facilities.
I’m not defending Andruw, and I don’t comment here much lately, but your rant sounded ignorant and dumb.
Sorry for the trouble Mac.
I guess Jeff is going to have to drive in himself.
Hah. Frenchy didn’t swing at that one only because that was coming to his head. 😛
Curacao. A tropical island where the people love baseball. Sounds like a winner to me. Sign me up.
Francoeur really isn’t very bright.
Oh lord. Francoeur stole a base, but he thought it was a foul ball and almost got picked off. Go figure.
Francour is an idiot! What was he doing???
For those on Gameday, this is as wet as you’ll ever see a game continue on a major league infield.
I have Gameday on and I’m watching it. I tuned in the ninth.
Bottom of the 11th. I guess it’s an advantage that we have four people on the bench.
Just one time I’d like Andruw to not screw up a clutch situation this year. Is that too much to ask? Apparently. Man.
I mean, McCann’s 0-5, they may as well go with Clint Sammons the rest of the way. Couldn’t hurt.
Church, Kearns and the pitcher’s spot due up in the 11th for the Gnats.
No, there was a game in 2005 against the Nationals at RFK where the field was flooded. That was the wettest I’ve ever seen an MLB game that kept being played. The Braves eventually won in the ninth inning only because with two outs and runners on, the Nationals SS or 3B (can’t remember exactly which one it was) threw the wet ball away when attempting to throw to first base for what should have been the final out.
Uh oh. I thought that Zimmerman was up last inning. Okay, him, Church and Kearns.
Braves loss=inevitable
Look at that field. It’s just mud now.
“I guess it’s an advantage that we have four people on the bench.”
Not when the four are Woodward, Franco, Corky Miller, and Sammons (who’s an ok prospect but only up for depth).
I mean as pinch-hitters. All the Gnats have left is Brian Schneider.
And there he is pinch-hitting.
Come on Mahay. Get a grounder here.
I said “All he needs is a single *crack* and there it is. Foul, okay.”
Well, he got a grounder. Not a DP one, but you were right, SY.
Okay, Jesus Flores is up again to try to win the game.
Maybe Woodward and Co are a pinch hitting advantage but the Braves might be just as well batting Mahay or Reyes.
Jesus again? Surely he won’t falter twice
What do you know, another liner to Andruw.
12th inning, ho!
whew.
Frank,
Well, that’s all they’re needed for: pinch-hitting. May as well let them do it. The Braves never win extra-inning games on the road. Who knows, maybe they’ll surprise us.
SD and SF tied at 2 in the 6th. COME ON Giants!! (Hey, it could happen . . . )
Sam–it’ll definitely be a surprise. 🙂
By the way. I was at the Dodger game last night. They look like a pretty good club. I see them winning the wild card. SD has a bush league lineup. The Giles boys looked bad last night. So did Mad Dog. Wells looked surprisingly good.
Oh this is hilarious hearing the announcers talk about drying agent and the mud field.
So are we washed out?
I doubt it. They don’t want to waste all that drying agent for nothing.
0-5 McCann’s up. Whoever that is keeps saying “Albadejo” for the pitcher, when it’s “Albaladejo”.
If you can explain why a game between two teams, one of whom has been out of it all season, and the other of whose chances would be charitably described as on life support, is being taken to the twelfth inning in constant rain… Well, please, explain it to me, because I have nothing.
We’re all at a loss, Mac. Just enjoy it. 😀
0-6 McCann now. Sheesh. Maybe Sammons would have done better.
They’d be better off using one of the catchers to hit here. Julio has no power left at all, and if you’re going to get a run you need a homer.
another inning of free baseball–yippee
Bottom of the 12th, yay.
Logan, Fick and Lopez up and I have no idea who the Braves are going to send up there.
You realize we’re playing a team that uses Robert “Slappy” Fick as a defensive replacement at first base? Jiminy.
Albaladejo! Ascanio!
It would add a bit more than I could stand to the season if Robert Fick (up 2nd) beats us in extra innings….
I say Wily Mo ends it in the fourteenth off of Jo-Jo.
Nice pick there by Escobar.
Nice pick there by Teixeira. 😀
Man, I don’t want to see Belliard again
What a lovely sheen, it’s innning number 13!
Mac–Wily Mo taking JoJo out is plausible, but, now that it doesn’t matter, I bet the Braves actually win one.
Mac, Wily Mo’s out of the game.
I actually think it’s “al-bah-LAH-day-ho”
This is all Andruw’s fault, of course. You just know he’s getting into all the umpires meetings, saying “Nah, we can play through this,” and offering to go to Wal-Mart for more Quick Dry.
Why
wont
this
game
end!?!
Also, I move that Martin Prado’s last name be prounounced to rhyme with Play-Doh.
Good hypothesis, Mac. I’m totally in agreement. He’s also telling those umpires:
“Don’t worry about those borderline strikes. I’ll swing and miss to remove any doubt.”
Mraver, the better question is “why won’t this *season* end?” Why can’t someone win a bunch of games so the wild card won’t be just in front of us, like the rabbit in front of the greyhounds?
First and third, one out.
Anyone thinking that Mark Teixeira is going to be walked here to get to Francoeur?
If we’re a greyhound, we’re definitely Santa’s Little Helper.
Hold on GIANTS!! 3-2 in the 8th.
Tex knocks in Prado here.
13 men on base. Geez.
… why are they pitching to him?
WEll, they could have just walked him intentionally, that would have been the same result and give them the better option here.
Four-pitch walk. Now the Nats have us right where they want us.
Francoeur=strikeout
Andruw Jones=out (don’t know which kind, all are possible with him)
A single by Frenchy. You heard it here first.
A fly ball would do.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Hey, a hit!
HOLY SH**!
IT’S A HIT, OH. MY. GOD. IT’S. A. HIT.
WHOOHOOO!! Single baby!! What did I say!!
Quick, SomeYahoo! Predict a home run!
Oh, wow. Thanks, Frenchy!
For Andruw? I don’t think so.
Man, we could make some noise in the WC this weekend if we sweep these guys. Gotta get three more outs. Hope Ascanio feels good. (Ahh, a fools hope.)
Haha!! Beautiful. Good work Andruw.
46 players have appeared in this game, 23 on each team. Ah, roster expansion…
Two stolen bases for Frenchy tonight. Hell has frozen over.
And for doing that, Jeff is going to get thrown at tomorrow. Probably. If Robinson was still their manager, definitely.
0-7 night for McCann, good lord.
Think Franny could be a 20-20 guy if they let him run more? I say yes. Why the hell don’t we steal more.
0-7. Well, we all have nights like that, Brian.
Guy needs rest.
Nice smack on that last ball, though.
0-7 for McCann isn’t too surprising–he’s got to be tired from all the use over the past 6 weeks
^ I don’t know if I was refering to McCann or to myself at this point…
Andruw Jones’ season makes little kids cry. He is last on the team among the regulars in OBP and slugging. His batting average is like .220. Aside from the walkoff homer against the Phillies in April, I can’t remember one clutch hit he’s had this season.
And yet the Rangers (unless they go for Hunter) will end up giving Andruw Jones 100+ million. Or maybe the Nationals? Damn you Scott Boras. You’ve ruined baseball more than any other single person in recent times.
Seriously though. We have Milwaukee and Philly next week. It’s gonna be interesting. Let’s contrive a WC race here. Why the hell not?
“Why the hell don’t we steal more.”
Because the Braves keep getting thrown out and ending possible rallies.
Someone finally made an error in the mud. Too bad it was Prado.
That’s one.
That’s two.
BRAVES WIN!
Yay, a win!
WHEW.
Way to go, bullpen.
Awesome! Bed time!
Nice win….time to start the day
We don’t try to run enough. Only 84 times all year. The Angels have tried 183 times. We just don’t emphasis it. Haven’t in a long time.
Good win boys. The fans deserve a win in extras. 3.5 back, potentially. Are things still hopeless?
SomeYahoo,
No, it’s not hopeless, but the Braves haven’t been able to put together the streak they need for one reason or another, which is why a lot of people have given up.
