If anybody wants, I’ll be live on the air tonight for exciting high school football. Faith Academy, out of Mobile, ranked #2 in the state rankings, up against unranked Lee-Scott Academy. Probably a home loss for my team – what do you think?
LSA is 2-4 on the season, losers of 3-straight, and has yet to score at home. Additionally, LSA’s QB & RB (concussions) are out.
Faith is 5-1 on the reason, the only blemish a 12-0 opening-night loss to #1 when they commited four turnovers. The last two weeks, they’ve picked off the defending state champions 27-0 and last week, upended #3 (undefeated, hasn’t been challenged all season), blowing them out and leading 41-10 at half.
This could get really really really ugly. If you want to listen in (it’s sorta like Skip Caray doing a baseball blowout and passing time with dumb jokes and puns), check out http://www.mix967online.com and click the link at the bottom. Pregame at 8:15 ET, kick at 8:30.
War Eagle – beat Arkansas!
..and go to DC, Terry. Just like you say, swing your hardest and good things will happen to you. And us.

Jeff Fisher…….comments
Titans coach Jeff Fisher, appearing as a guest on Fox Sports Radio, was asked what will happen next to Albert Haynsworth: “It’s over. It’s done with. It was brutal. There was no place for it. But we’ve moved on. He’s not in the building, he won’t be in the building, he may never be in the building ever again. “He’s gone for 5 weeks. I don’t know what he’s gonna do. Is he gonna go out and gain his weight back or come back not in shape? I don’t know. At this point I don’t care. … He’s not part of this team.”

This may sound bad, but I think a lot of teams are using TP to say they interviewed a black canidate for manager. However, i think the Braves are grooming him to take over for Bobby Cox.
4 Pacers involved in shooting at a strip club….you’ll never guess who was involved…stephen jackson…i know…i was shocked too…also involved were Jamal Tinsley, Marquis Daniels and somebody else…didn’t hear who…
I miss atlanta FC stadium…..so throwing that out there.

Smitty it seems like Pendleton might be the MLB version of Dennis Green a few years ago, when he interviewed for basically every NFL job, except for the inept Lions, who couldn’t wait long enough to hire Mariuchi. Anyway, I hope to hell and back that they aren’t grooming Pendleton to take over for Bobby.
Also, Stephen Jackson is probably the most dangerous NBAer not named Quyntel Woods, and I think Marquis Daniels’ career is about to be heading straight down the drain.

Oh, sure. Make me feel even worse about my favorite team and their freak players. *pout*
I prefer the Counting Crows version… Last night’s game makes me actually miss Glavine.
I’m sure he’s been dying to erase his last postseason from his memory…
I am much happier watching games at the Ted
Pendleton going to the Nats???

oh 4th guy was Jimmie Hunter…who??? Never heard of him…
oops double post…
Smitty, I agree with you absolutely regarding the Braves grooming TP to take over for Bobby when he retires.
People always talk about Artest or TO, but for my money no pro sports athlete is crazier than Stephen Jackson. The sky is the limit for that guy.
Pendleton going to the Nats???
It’s pretty weird that our coaching staff is getting raided after our worst season in 15 years. Somebody take Roger McDowell please.
Well for our sake, let’s hope he’s a better manager than hitting coach.
for their sake, not ours….
