Great. Thomson now has Travis Smith’s Disease, and Furcal gets himself thrown out stealing down two runs. At least we don’t have to worry about blowing an early lead this time.

Has Thomson ever not had Travis Smith’s Disease? It’s not like he’s ever walked too many.
Don’t diss Speedy; he’s one of the most efficient base-thieves in MLB, so he’s allowed to get caught once in a while. “Down two runs” isn’t no-steal territory, especially since the Braves haven’t exactly been slugging up a storm.
I’ll take my chances with Furcal on base and JD hitting…
