“There’s only one really great manager of pitching that I’ve seen thus far in the time I’ve followed baseball, that knows the pitcher should be removed after the third time through the lineup, except in rare circumstances. That’s Greg Maddux.”
So according to Marshall, Maddux has been faking injuries game after game after game after game … yeah, right. About as logical as his claims that the Devil Rays intentionally sabotaged one of their own players in order to discredit Marshall’s theories. Must be difficult seeing little green men hiding behind every grassy knoll with proof positive that its all a governmental plot!
