I thought I might come in to work yesterday and do a wrap up just after the game. However, my retired wife wanted to “do something.” So, it was off to High Falls (the most amazing place in Georgia to be so little known) and roaming about the central piedmont. On the way south from there on U. S. 23 we got behind some kind of traffic jam that caused us to take 40 minutes to go 10 miles. It turned out it was an escorted bicycle group.

The bullpen on this team can be post season dominant. The question is can the semi functioning and non-functioning offensive factors actually start functioning to what pre-season reasonable projections say they should. If so, we will be fine. If not, this won’t cut it.

We certainly “held our own.” I think the classic number is home field advantage tilts games about 5 percent, as in 50 / 50 becomes 55 home team / 45. We didn’t lose ground. But we missed a chance to end it.
