Thank you for your recap of last night’s game, tfloyd. Your words were far better than the game. If you like pitcher’s duels, tonight’s the night for you as Chris Sale takes the mound against Jordan Hicks in Game 2 of the Braves and Giants series. Orlando Arcia will sit again today and Jack Short will play….well, short. Speaking of short, that’s what the Braves are going to playing, once again, tonight as both Ramon Laureano and Orlando Arcia are not available tonight. I’m not keen on the idea of the Braves playing short for any game, much less doing so in a string of games, yet here we are.

After a long period on the IL, AJ Smith-Shawver is back on the mound on a rehab assignment with Rome and could see the MLB mound before the end of this month.
