Today was a special one for my wife’s family as her father, who’s been the judge in Webster Groves, MO for 24 years, retired and was the Grand Marshall for the 4th of July parade, of which my wife and our 2 daughters were also ride with their “PaPa” on the float. A memorable day for the Cothran family!

Great photo
Great pic, and Happy 4th everybody.
Wonderful picture of a blessed family.
Just read that Max Fried threw his second live BP session today and could be nearing a rehab assignment. I look forward to his return to the rotation. Allard, Shuster, Dodd, AJSS — they’ve all done a great job holding down the fort, but Max’s presence will be invaluable down the home stretch.
Happy 4th! Shame to leave the bases juiced.
Man, Ozzie is hotter than July right now.
Can’t really complain after the last month, but Yates in a 1-run game in the 7th inning, being left in to pitch to the Guardians’ hottest hitter … that ain’t it.
Minor quibble: No reason why Eddie was in the field. He made the last out of the inning prior. Pillar might not have made that catch but at least it would’ve been more probable.
Quibble 2: Anderson threw 10 pitches. Iglesias was used in the previous two games. Even if he got out of the 10th, who was going to pitch the 11th? Why not let Anderson pitch the 10th?
Cool story, Ryan. Glad I was out tonight to miss Yates and Raisel squander that one. Allard must have been solid again, yeah?
Recapped.
