I think the book comes out March 15 or thereabouts. Right before my birthday on the 17th.
I dislike Aaron Gleeman’s style strongly. Every time I read his writing I get the distinct feeling that he needs a girlfriend.

The odds are that one of the two will get hurt and force a move. That’s how catchers are. If not, Saltalamacchia will be moved to first or traded.

Lower BA, higher OBP, lower SLG, but still an OPS above .775.
I think they’ll be about equal, but there’s all the difference in the world between a RF with a .780 OPS and a catcher with one.
the C’s .780 ops is likely to have a higher obp too which makes it more valuable. of course there is also a stark difference in defensive value between them favoring francoeur.
Note for people in my fantasy league… Carl Crawford’s delusions of grandeur. This is why we aren’t counting stolen bases.
