No-Hitters and Perfect Games: List
Nobody’s ever had two perfect games tossed against them in the same season. I was pretty sure. The Phillies — who else! — had two no-hitters tossed against them in 1960, both by the Braves. (Spahn and Burdette, naturally.) The Big Red Machine actually had two against them in 1971, the Rockies twice in 1996, including Hideo Nomo’s at Coors Field.
UPDATE: Ha! That reverse jinx worked!
This game sucks. They can’t get more than two hits in six innings off Kristin?? And September is not a good time for your alleged ace to start giving up longballs in bunches.
Maybe his wife being a freakin’ 10 gave him super-natural powers…
