Another mark on how bad Chipper’s struggles have been – bringing in a right-handed pitcher to allow him to bat lefty (with a lefty behind him to boot). That never would have happened in previous years. I just looked at his splits this year, power is same from either side, and average is only .208 batting lefty. Of course, after looking up all of this, he walks. 🙂
