As noted in the comments, Keith Lockhart signed a minor league deal with the Padres. What will Scheurholz give up in August to get him back? (Always assuming that the Braves are actually in the race.)

Although I can see the August risk, my real fear was that no team would sign him and Giles or DeRo would start off slow and JS would sign him on May 1. At least we don’t have to worry about that now. FYI – Camp Leo started today.
