Author: tfloyd

First Place Braves 5, IWOTM 2

In the biggest game of the season so far, the Braves rose to the occasion and defeated the Mets 5-2.  As a result, the NL East race is dead even; after 157 games, each team is 98-57. By the way, … Finish Reading

Going into Friday’s game our Braves found themselves once again on the Streets of Philadelphia, as the Phils hosted the guys from My Hometown.  The Braves are trying to return to the Glory Days of 2021, returning to The Promised … Finish Reading

Your First Place Atlanta Braves 6, Mariners 4

We should all thank heaven every day that we are Braves fans.  Just as importantly, we should all get down on our knees and give thanks that we’re not Mets fans.

JonathanF wrote yesterday about the new book, A Fan’s … Finish Reading

This Is What We Do: Braves club five homers, gut the Fish 8-1

Our Braves are clearly disciples of the great Earl Weaver, whose famous formula for winning baseball games was pitching and three run homers. As he explained, “Pitching keeps you in the game.  Home runs win the game.” It’s true … Finish Reading

Really Good Braves 11, Devil Magic 4

I’m late getting the recap up, so I’ll be brief. As Snit might say, our team is really good. Friday’s 11-4 victory over the Cardinals was the 15th win in the last 17 games. And they are playing really well … Finish Reading
