This feels crazy to even say, but somehow, some dadgum way, this team is only 6 games behind the Phillies. The Phils are playing the Marlins and are up 6-5 in the top of 6. Let’s hope for a comeback. Michael Harris II is back and that’s all that truly matters. Some were upset that Adam Duvall wasn’t the victim, but it looks like Brian Snitker and Alex Anthopoulos hasn’t decided on Ramon Laureano or Duvall yet so Eli White was the odd man out. I agree with this decision. Adam Duvall has been strong against LHP and Laureano’s been a pretty good bat lately. Let them duke it out. Parker Dunshee gets the DFA, which isn’t really fair to a dude that got 1 stint in the bigs and his faith was decided. Hope he sticks in the org as I think there’s some potential there.

Hip surgery for Minter. Best wishes to him for a swift and complete recovery. He’ll be a free agent this offseason. I hope he gets paid – I hope it’s by us! – but one way or another, something tells me we’ll see him again in a Braves uniform.
