Transaction a Day AA
I have it from a good source that this could be a season ending injury for A.J. Minter, who has definitely looked shaky since coming off of the IL.
Amed Rosario Anyone?
The Los Angeles Dodgers picked up Amed Rosario at the trade deadline, but apparently didn’t like him too much and has DFA’d him. It wouldn’t surprise me if AA were to put a claim on him considering their SS plans are Orlando Arcia and… I got nothing.

So that’s… yet another dropped pop-up by Ramon Laureano. Can we please never see him again?
It’s unfortunate his defense has been so bad because his bat (wrc+ 105 with ATL) has been serviceable.
Get Laureano off this team.
Oh my God – how in the world did Chris Sale get out of that inning?
What. A. Dude.
Chris Sale is why I think this team can go deep in the playoffs. I mean, not this team right now, but with Harris and Albies back and some good mojo.
And now a ball goes under Riley’s glove. Riley’s been sure-handed all year. The whole team is feeling snakebit right now. It’s a 0-0 game and it feels like we’re already losing. I hate seeing these guys like this.
I wish automated balls and strikes were standard by next season; seems like part of the reason to watch right now is ” let’s see how bad the HP umpire is tonight”
Best pop time behind the plate in MLB and these morons decide to run on him with the top of the order up.
Defeat leads to desperation. Desperation leads to stupidity.
On the positive side, it means this inning won’t end in a double play.
Great pitchers’ duel, but… I had forgotten how remarkably awful CB Bucknor was. He’s missing 3 calls an inning.
EDIT: Iglesias is downright nasty tonight… and a great win considering the circumstances.
NOW he calls the outside pitch a ball?
GFY, Bucknor.
Ahhh. Can smell the playoffs.
I did not believe the Braves would win – I didn’t believe we could win. From the early innings on, the miscues just all seemed to press down harder on the team’s low morale. And honestly, if not for the Manfred Man, I don’t know that we would’ve ever come up with an earned run.
But it was a must-win, and we won. I’ll take it.
All hail the Manfred Man, or this game would have gone 20 innings.
[AAR: I owe you a Coke]
Love West Coast games. What a performance by Sale and great hitting there by D’Arnaud. Iglesias was a man on a mission. Great win!
recapped.
