This year, as every year, I have much to be thankful for. One of the small graces in my life has always been this blog, which was really my first regular blog community on the web. Losing Mac was a tragedy in all of our lives, but I’m both proud and grateful that the blog lives on as his legacy and as a home for all of us. Enjoy the cranberries and stuffing, y’all.
Happy Thanksgiving all!! Be safe.
Happy Thanksgiving! y’all.
Alex, Thanks man, thanks a lot. Keeping this place going and maintaining the high standards that Mac set must require significant effort. I am grateful.
Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
I just wanted to say that you’re doing a great job, Alex! I, and I’m sure everybody else, are greatly appreciative of the effort you’ve put forth to keep this site running as a memorial to Mac and as a continued place for us all to congregate and talk about the Braves. Keep up the great work!
Can we get some more Francoeur-on-animal pictures? How about a caribou one for Christmas?
Happy Thanksgiving to all (written just before my family puts me into a turkey coma)
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Happy Thanksgiving all. Just to echo all the sentiments, a great job by Alex and everyone else that has submitted posts. I would offer my services but my analysis would suck so…
Greetings from Shenandoah, Pa…
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
I’m forever thankful to have this lil corner of the universe.
Now back to the kielbasa & Yuengling…
Happy Thanksgiving Day. Excellent picture.
Dan, that’s a great idea – go for it!
Happy Thanksgiving from St. Louis! Bless you laddies and lassies.
Happy Thanksgiving! What a beautiful day.
Sitting in the parking lot at Target in Tuscaloosa, watching the line outside the door grow ever longer as I wait to start my shift and work through the Black Friday rush.
I am thankful for this site, which is where I always come when I’m feeling stressed and overwhelmed.
Also, for Djarum Blacks, the Rolling Stones, and holiday pay.
Does anybody play Strat-o-Matic baseball? Any thoughts on it?
As a native Canadian, I am fiercely loyal and proud of my country. Having said that, you guys do Thanksgiving Day right and proper. Cheers, have a safe and happy one friends.
The Braves have 4 outfielders on the 40 man roster. Schafer & Constanza are half of them. Half of the other half is our 3rd baseman. The hot stove could use another log.
Still dreaming of a lineup that has Fowler at the top and Hamilton cleaning up.
In the spirit of the Thanksgiving, I present William Shatner singing a cautionary tale of fried turkey.

I was always more of an APBA guy, but I have friends who still play.
Evan Gattis just hit a two run homer to a break a 1-1 tie in the top of the 9th. Didn’t see it but Twitter lit up with Aguilas fans describing it as a jonrón descomunal–a mammoth shot. If Aguilas makes it to the Caribbean series I may have to take a vacation.
In the post game interview Gattis was asked how he got through his slump. Credited his two Aguilas coaches with helping him adjust to all the curve balls and sliders he was getting. The homer came on a breaking pitch. This guy is so unbelievable likeable. I can’t wait to see El Oso Blanco in a Braves uniform.
Wren should go after Alex Gordon from KC. Word is they are listening on everyone except Perez and Escobar.
New thread.
