This is Russ Ortiz’s real problem. Not the home runs, but the walks. In the second inning, he walked the second batter, then a single, then a walk. And went 3-0 on the next hitter before getting a popup. It’s maddening, and I hoped Leo would break him of it. Not so far.
UPDATE: And then he goes 3-1 on the pitcher before getting a groundout. Aaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhh.
Ah, but those middle-of-the-order homer slugfests are always nice to see.
